We visited our friends in the village of Pang Daeng, where the Dara-ang people are accomplished food foresters. Guests from the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok and U.S. Consulate in Chiang Mai, who are helping fund research for our community agriculture project, joined the visit and were very enthusiastic about the villagers’ efforts to “jungle up” the hills with perennial food crops and trees.
