A short video showing some of our experience with Pang Daeng Village up until mid-March 2010. This is a brief introduction to the village and the agroforestry potential already realized by some of the villagers. We visit one of the village agroforest plots where they guide us through the process from rattan harvest to a delicious rattan nam prik (spicy rattan paste). In the latter section of the video, Loong (Uncle) Yawt talks briefly about the village’s forest farming background.
As part of our community agriculture research project, Fair Earth hopes to link Pang Daeng Village with new market options for their agroforest products.
