Europeans resist GMOs, while America goes for frankenfish — report

In Europe, public opposition to genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is rising and the area of agricultural land dedicated to GM crops declined by 23% between 2008 and 2010. More than 60 percent of EU citizens are opposed to GMOs. In a new report, Friends of the Earth looks at this hopeful trend, as well as scary trends like the US government’s support for Frankenfish.
