Europeans resist GMOs, while America goes for frankenfish — report

In Europe, public opposition to genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is rising and the area of agricultural land dedicated to GM crops declined by 23% between 2008 and 2010. More than 60 percent of EU citizens are opposed to GMOs.
